Family Self-Defense workshop!

This workshop provides the unique opportunity for parents/guardians to learn together with their children tactics and skills to stay safe in public and private spaces. We begin each workshop with a listening session that prioritizes the safety concerns you and your children need addressed. Topics include street smarts and strategies to stop or interrupt harassment and bullying, recognizing healthy and unhealthy behaviors, setting and respecting boundaries, assertive communication, de-escalation, and physical and non physical skills. All sessions are designed to create an emotionally safe learning environment led by experienced facilitators who have been teaching self-defense to people of all backgrounds, genders and ages. Topics include street smarts and strategies to stop or interrupt harassment and bullying, recognizing healthy and unhealthy behaviors, setting and respecting boundaries, assertive communication, de-escalation, and physical and non physical skills.
