This workshop focuses on personal safety needs specific to the Deaf Community and will offer a wide range of topics including self-care, de-escalation, verbal assertiveness and physical self-defense skills. The workshop is designed to meet the needs of the participants and provides a range of strategies that can be used in personal or public settings. Recommended for adults and youth 14 years and older. Workshops are offered on a sliding scale and financial assistance is available.
